Linux Essentials Training Course
This course is an introduction to the use of Linux on the command line.
Course Details
This course will teach basic use of the Linux operating system. On completion learners will be able to work at the Linux command prompt and be familiar with the most important command line tools. Concepts taught on this course are pre-requisites for the System Administration, Networking and Security courses.
Delivery Method
Instructor Led classroom based training. Stationary and textbook included. Refreshments, including 2 tea breaks and a cooked meal for lunch are provided for full time courses. Light finger meals are supplied for part time courses.
Audience
Computer users with basic IT user knowledge including use of a graphical interface. Ambitious users as well as system administrators.
Pre-Requisites
Computer Literacy and basic operating system concepts. If In doubt first complete the Linux Point&Click Admin course.
